The Kreiskliniken Reutlingen gGmbH is pleased to announce the launch of an annual exchange program with our long-standing partner, the University of Iowa Health Care (Iowa City, USA). This program builds on the successful collaboration established during the Magnet for Europe study and offers valuable opportunities for a nursing staff member.
Program Objectives
- Obtain first-hand experience of the U.S. healthcare system within the applicant’s area of practice.
- Develop and submit a project that can be implemented at Kreiskliniken Reutlingen upon return.
Selection Process
Nursing staff candidates will be evaluated by a committee (nursing directorate, APN leadership, staff council representative) based on:
- Relevance and potential impact of the proposed project
- English proficiency (assessed during the interview and project presentation)
The final decision will be made by the nursing directorate.
Costs and Organizations
Covered by Kreiskliniken Reutlingen:
- Flight costs
- Accommodation in cooperation with University of Iowa Health Care
Covered by participants:
- Visa application (reimbursed by employer)
- Personal expenses
Application Requirements and Deadline
Applicants must submit a written application including:
- Motivation letter
- Curriculum vitae
- Description of the proposed project
